Gorgeous silver plated clam shell-shaped dish, possible to serve candy or to be used as a catch-all. The body of the bowl is scalloped realistically, and the handle is very elegantly modeled on a swan’s head. The bowl stands on three ball feet The underside has a stamp that says Harrods London SW, and a maker's mark that reads H&HS EP. It was made by Harrison Brothers & Howson, in Sheffield England, and is from the late 1800s or early 1900s.
