Meiji period heavy cast bronze candle stand. Each of the three legs have foo-foo dogs on top, and the two handles are shaped as elephant heads. The shoulder has a raised song bird, surrounded by flowers. It was blackened with tarnish and patina, but we have polished it to reveal the design more clearly. Made in Japan the late 1800s, early 1900s.
