A large sized silver plated chalice with an attached paten. The paten is meant to hold consecrated bread and the chalice the sacramental wine during communion. The chalice is beautifully engraved and has a Greek meandering border and a very fine fish scale design on the body. The paten stands on four ball feet, and is slightly bent and has a few dings. May be from the mid 1900s Goa or Kerela.
